On January 6, 1926, 100 years ago, the first “Luft Hansa” was founded, and on April 6 of the same year, it made its maiden flight. In 1957, the Lockheed Super Star, the Lockheed L-1649A Super Star, or Super Connie, as it is colloquially known, joined the Lufthansa fleet and for the first time received the Senator class as the most exclusive travel option.
Boeings history startet July 15, 1916. From producing a single canvas-and-wood airplane the Company turned in the last 100 years into the world’s largest aerospace company.
